SUPREME COURTS POLICIES & REFUND POLICIES

REGISTRATION POLICY

Registration for programs, tryouts, leagues or tournaments must be completed online. No registration is complete until payment is received. Payments may be made at the time of electronic registration on our website with a credit card, or may be made in person with a single check, cash or money order. Entry is only guaranteed upon receipt of the entry fee.

Refund policy for programs as following:

$35.00 cancellation fee up to start date of program
No refund/credit after program has started (first practice)

Refund for injury (Doctor’s note is required)

100% up to start date

Pro-rated amount for games/practice missed after injury occurred (based upon date notice of injury is provided). Refund amount will be issued in form of credit for future session.

Refund policy for tournaments as following:

$50.00 cancellation fee up to schedule being released.

No refunds after the schedule is released.

Refunds will not be processed for tryouts or uniforms.

Forms of refund may not always be in the same form as original payment. There is a $10.00 returned check fee.

All cancellation notices must be sent via email to tyson.chapman@scbasketball.net (The initial email date will be used for proration calculation).

LEAGUE PAYMENT POLICY

It is the responsibility of the teams to pay a registration fees. If the league fee is not paid in full by the first week of the session, the team will be removed from competition. WEATHER CANCELLATIONS POLICY

It is the policy of The Supreme Courts to ensure the safety of the teams and patrons when inclement weather arrives. If conditions are unplayable before the first game or conditions decline throughout the day, a decision will be made as soon as possible

RESCHEDULING OF CANCELLED GAMES

In the event of a game being cancelled by Supreme Courts due to inclement weather, a scheduled make up day will be assigned. If either of the teams are unable to play on the assigned day, the game will not be made up. Practices cancelled due to inclement weather will not be rescheduled.

CROWD WARNING POLICY

In the event that spectators display behavior considered to be unsportsmanlike, unruly, or interfere with the orderly progress of the game, the official shall stop the game and a Supreme Courts Manager will address the warning. The warning will be noted on the official score sheet and the head coach of the offending team shall be notified.

The officials may call a technical foul on the team if its supporters continue to act in such a way as to interfere with the proper conduct of the game. If behavior continues after a technical foul has been issued the game will be stopped and a forfeit will be given to the offending team.

It is strongly encouraged that the head coach notifies the spectators of the warning and of the penalties that may ensue if unsportsmanlike behavior continues.

If a team receives a second warning during a session, the team’s coach must meet with The Supreme Courts management before the team’s next game. If a third offense occurs during a session, the team will be removed from the league.

Note: Inappropriate behavior by a coach during a game will be address in similar manner as listed above. Warnings may still be issued in this event. The Supreme Courts continues to encourage the promotion of good acts of sportsmanship before, during, and after games. Please help us to achieve this by informing your spectators of our policies.

PATRON CODE OF CONDUCT

Supreme Courts is committed to providing a safe, clean and fun environment for all participants and guests. By doing so, patrons are required to act appropriately and are to be respectful of others at all times when using Supreme Courts facilities.

Persons using Supreme Courts for any of the following activities (basketball, volleyball, soccer, fitness, training, tournaments, combines, showcases and other facility rentals) are expected to behave in a mature and responsible manner. The Supreme Courts Code of Conduct does not permit language or any action that may hurt or frighten another athlete or parent that falls below a generally accepted standard of conduct. Directions issued by Supreme Courts staff, sport specific officials or tenant directors or event organizers must be followed at all times.

The following actions are prohibited at Supreme Courts:

Harassment or intimidation using words, gestures, body language or menacing behavior
Physical contact with another individual or staff member in an angry, violent or threatening manner
Any demonstration of sexual activity or sexual suggestiveness
Carrying or concealing weapons or devices that may be used as a weapon
Use or possession of illegal chemicals or alcohol on Supreme Courts property.
Coolers are not allowed. No glass bottles, Random spot checks of patron’s bags will be made
Abuse of Supreme Courts equipment, supplies and property
Patrons are responsible for the cost of any damages resulting from disorderly conduct or misuse of equipment.
Theft of services.
Smoking and loitering inside or outside Supreme Courts facilities/grounds
Continuous poor sportsmanship or overaggressive competitiveness from players or spectators
Any other unacceptable behavior including inappropriate dress
Outside food is not permitted in Supreme Courts
Refreshments are available at the concession area and eating is restricted to the concession area
Only non-marking athletic shoes are permitted. Sandals and street shoes are not allowed
Shoes and shirts must be worn at all times
No person shall use the courts for any activity other than its intended purposes, unless approved by the Supreme Courts staff
Patrons are responsible for the cost of any damages resulting from disorderly conduct or misuse of equipment, and removal of equipment
