INSANE SCORING CAMP

The Insane Scoring Camp will feature all the elements that make a player an elite scorer. The mindset of an elite scorer is of the utmost importance, and we have some prolific scorers lined up to teach what it takes to score the basketball like you never thought possible. This camp will teach players how to be more than just a shooter! You will learn, how and when to be aggressive, to always put pressure on the defense, and how to be an elite scorer and also be a great teammate. We will not be teaching ball-hogging skills, being an elite scorer means efficiency, and consistency!

DYNASTY SKILLS SUMMER CAMP

The Dynasty Summer Skills Camp will feature all the aspects of being an efficient, heady, player. One of the most important qualities of an elite player is being a leader. The coaches for this camp had an impact on every game because of their high skill level, and their understanding of what their team needed from them as leaders. Spend a week in this fast paced, detail oriented all around skills camp, and leave with a new sense of what it takes to be an elite player.

 CAMP SCHEDULE 

MONDAY  Ball-handling, proper shooting form, and one-on one moves inside and outside will be the focus

TUESDAY  Perimeter and post defense, proper way to steal, and rebounding will be the focus

WEDNESDAY  Team fundamentals such as screen and roll, cuts, and passing will be the focus

THURSDAY  King of the court, 3-3 and scrimmage, free throw and 3 point shooting contest, and team play to end the Camp

BALL HANDLING WIZARD CAMP

CAMP 1 : JUNE 26 - JUNE 29    |   CAMP 2 : JULY 24 - JULY 27 

Helping athletes improve their ball handling skills, while teaching them new and affective ways to score the ball off the dribble. Dynasty will put young athletes through multiple footwork drills to increase their speed on getting to the basket and finishing more effectively. Players will be put through college level drills. Players will have to come into the program with an open mind to want to learn and get better.

  • Crossover Steps, Foot Positions, Body Movement, Body Control
  • Double Moves, Dribble moves to get a better scoring angle, Dribble moves in the paint, Dribble moves to set up teammates,
  • What to look for when making a move to the basket, understanding how a defender is playing you and limiting the number of dribble moves in order to pass the defender.

TUESDAY Body Control, Double Moves, Creating Scoring Angles.

WEDNESDAY Operating in the paint, setting up teammates, Seeing the Floor.  

THURSDAY Reading Defense, Being patient in traffic.

David Brown
Western Michigan

Brown finished his career as one of the most productive players in Bronco history, leading the team to 2014 MAC regular season and Tournament championships as well as an NCAA Tournament appearance. He finished his career ranked eighth in career scoring at WMU with 1,536 career points, third in career three-pointers made with 217, and tied for first in games played with 135 career appearances in the Brown and Gold. Brown's best campaign came in 2013-14 when he led the MAC in scoring at 19.1 points per game, earned First Team All-MAC honors and captured the MAC Tournament MVP trophy with 32 points against Toledo in the championship game. Learn more...

 

AJ Johnson
Purdue/Northern Illinois

A four-star recruit coming out of Whitney M. Young Magnet High School in Chicago, Johnson had his pick of schools to choose from. Ultimately, he went with the Purdue Boilermakers, but after three years at Purdue he made the move to NIU. For two seasons at Purdue AJ appeared in all 34 games, and started in 11 contests. 
At NIU, AJ started 25 games, averaging 10.8 ppg and was named to the Academic All-MAC Team.
