Service Description

The Hoops Academy League is a developmental league that will give kids goals to help them advance their skills and help build a love for basketball. Leagues are a great tool for young players to see the fun in being a part of a team and putting skills that have been learned on a team level. Our professional coaches will be running all the practices/skill sessions, leading kids through drills that promote individual growth in skills, as well as teaching young players fundamental team skills. Our Coaches will also run the game portion of the League too. Games will be in a 4-on-4 or 5-on-5 format. This format is designed for developing players to have more space on the court to put skills learned in practice into game action.

Cancellation Policy

REGISTRATION/REFUND POLICY Registration for programs, tryouts, leagues, or tournaments must be completed online. No registration is complete until payment is received. Payments may be made at the time of electronic registration on our website with a credit card or may be made in person with a single check, cash or payment through our POS system. Entry is only guaranteed upon receipt of the player payment fee. Refund policy for programs as following: $35.00 cancellation fee up to start date of program No refund/credit after program has started (first practice or class) Refund for injury (Doctor’s note is required) 100% up to start date Pro-rated amount for games/practice missed after injury occurred (based upon date notice of injury is provided). Refund amount will be issued in form of credit for future session. Refund policy for tournaments as following: $50.00 cancellation fee up to schedule being released. No refunds after the schedule is released. Refunds will not be processed for tryouts or uniforms. Forms of refund may not always be in the same form as original payment. There is a $10.00 returned check fee. All cancellation notices must be sent via email to tyson.chapman@scbasketball.net (The initial email date will be used for proration calculation).
